Requirement: active rideshare driver profile

To join NexoDrive you must already be registered as a driver with at least one rideshare platform (Uber, DiDi, inDrive or similar). These platforms run strict background and document checks — by accepting their approved drivers we avoid duplicating that work, save time and resources, and get you on the road faster. Just share your active profile and driver numbers and you're good to go.

We verify this against the platform before activating your membership. Fake or unverifiable details = application rejected.

Estas reglas protegen a NexoDrive, a nuestra flota y a cada miembro que conduce con nosotros. Al registrarte aceptas electrónicamente todo lo siguiente. Las faltas pueden resultar en multas, suspensión o terminación de la membresía.

  1. 01

    Todas las multas son responsabilidad del conductor

    Cualquier multa pendiente generada mientras el vehículo esté en tu posesión — incluyendo casetas, multas de estacionamiento, infracciones de velocidad y cualquier otra violación de tránsito o municipal — la paga el conductor en su totalidad.

  2. 02

    Sin pickups en el aeropuerto — estrictamente prohibido

    Recoger pasajeros en el aeropuerto es ilegal bajo la regulación local. Si se rompe esta regla, el conductor es responsable de TODOS los costos asociados y de una penalización de MXN $10,000 por día hasta resolver el asunto por completo.

    Solo zonas de conducción aprobadas

    La conducción está restringida a las áreas de Cancún y Playa del Carmen. Operar el vehículo fuera de estas zonas sin permiso previo por escrito de NexoDrive pondrá tu membresía bajo revisión y generará multas por uso.

  4. 04

    Los impuestos son responsabilidad del conductor

    Todos los impuestos sobre las ganancias generadas en apps de viaje son 100% responsabilidad del conductor. NexoDrive no retiene, declara ni paga ningún impuesto sobre la renta u otro a tu nombre.

  5. 05

    Devuelve el vehículo exactamente como lo encontraste

    El auto debe devolverse limpio por dentro y por fuera, con el tanque lleno. Cualquier falta — limpieza interior, lavado exterior, falta de combustible, daños — se cobrará al costo más una penalización de MXN $5,000.

  6. 06

    Tarjeta de combustible + gasolinera aliada + recibo en 1 hora

    Al cargar combustible debes usar la tarjeta NexoDrive proporcionada Y cargar solo en nuestra gasolinera aliada. El recibo debe subirse a NexoDrive dentro de una (1) hora tras completar tu viaje. No hacerlo constituye una falta a la membresía.

    Rastreo del vehículo y monitoreo del conductor — siempre activos

    Cada vehículo NexoDrive cuenta con tecnología de rastreo GPS y monitoreo de conductor de última generación. Cualquier violación de las leyes locales o de estas reglas de membresía detectada por nuestros sistemas resultará en la cancelación inmediata de tu membresía. Manipular, desactivar, remover o interferir con cualquier equipo de rastreo o monitoreo conlleva la misma consecuencia y puede derivar en proceso penal. Estas reglas existen para proteger a nuestros miembros tanto como a nuestros autos y a nuestra empresa.

    Fair usage mileage policy — 250 km per day

    Each daily rental includes a fair-usage allowance of 250 km. Anything driven beyond 250 km in a single day is charged at MXN $5 per additional km. This policy exists so every member has equal access to a well-maintained, low-mileage vehicle, and so we can keep handing our drivers newer cars — including the option for members to purchase one in the future without bank financing. At the time of booking you may pre-purchase mileage add-ons: +50 km for MXN $150, or +100 km for MXN $300. Add-on mileage MUST be purchased at the moment of booking the car — once your trip starts, any excess km is automatically billed at the higher rate of MXN $5 per km. All outstanding amounts must be cleared on return of the vehicle. Unpaid balances will result in your membership being paused until the debt is fully settled, including any associated costs and legal fees.

    Card on file — mandatory at signup

    Every member must keep a valid payment card on file at all times. By joining NexoDrive you pre-authorise that card for damages, traffic fines, tolls, fuel shortfalls, cleaning fees, mileage overages and any other approved charges. This is not optional — it is what allows us to remove per-rental deposits and get you on the road faster.

    Pre and post-trip photo check-in — mandatory

    Before driving off and again when you return the car you must complete the in-app photo check-in: four exterior photos (front, rear, driver side, passenger side) and four interior photos (dashboard with odometer & fuel gauge, front seats, rear seats, boot). Returns will not be accepted in the app until all eight photos are uploaded. This protects you from being charged for damage that was already there, and protects the next member who takes the keys.

    Insurance excess is the driver's responsibility

    Every NexoDrive vehicle is fully insured, but in the event of an at-fault incident, accident or insurance claim the driver is fully responsible for the insurance excess / deductible as set by our insurer at the time of the claim, in addition to any uncovered losses.

  12. 12

    Verified address and reference contact required

    Before your first booking you must provide a verified residential address (with proof of address) and at least one personal reference contact we can reach in case of emergency, non-return of the vehicle or unpaid balances. Membership cannot be activated until both are on file and verified.

  13. 13

    Right of repossession — vehicle recovery

    If a vehicle is not returned by the agreed 1am drop-off, if payment lapses, or if any serious breach of these rules occurs, NexoDrive reserves the right to remotely immobilise the vehicle via our GPS system and recover it at the driver's cost. Refusal to return a vehicle will be reported to the authorities.

    Stay clean, drive your way to owning your own car

    We work as a family at NexoDrive — drivers, staff and the company all rely on each other to make this work. Members who consistently keep to all club rules, pay on time, look after the cars and represent the brand well are placed on the fast route to our Vehicle Purchase Program — where you can own one of our cars at amazing low member-only prices, with no bank loans and no compounding interest. Respect the rules, respect the cars, respect the team — and we'll help put you in the driver's seat of your own vehicle.

  15. 15

    No cancellations once a booking is confirmed

    Once you confirm a booking it cannot be cancelled or refunded. This protects every member: cars stay in circulation, no one loses a day's earnings to a no-show, and everyone gets a fair opportunity to drive. If you genuinely cannot drive, the car remains booked to you for that day and our team may, at its sole discretion, release it back to the calendar if another member can use it.

  16. 16

    Collection sign-off is the driver's responsibility

    On collection, the driver inspects the car together with our attendant, takes photos of any existing marks and signs off in the app that the vehicle is in perfect condition and ready to go. Once you sign off and drive away, any new damage, mechanical issue, fines or losses that occur during your booking are the driver's responsibility. If you don't sign off, you don't drive — protect yourself by checking the car carefully.

    Drop-off photos, mileage and condition upload — driver's responsibility

    On return, the driver and our attendant review the car together, but it is the driver's responsibility to upload the closing photos, the final odometer reading and any damage notes to the system before handing back the keys. Returns are not considered complete until this is done. Anything missing — photos, mileage, fuel — may result in charges to the card on file.

    Weekly bookings open every Sunday

    The booking calendar for the week ahead opens every Sunday. Members can log in and reserve the days they want for the coming week. First in, first served — and once a day is confirmed it cannot be cancelled, so plan your week before booking.

    Monthly feedback form — your voice shapes the club

    We always aim to improve quality and service for our members. Each month every member receives a short feedback form to share concerns, suggestions and ideas. Our operations team reviews every response and acts on what makes the club better for everyone. This is how we adapt to your needs and keep growing together.

    Fast collection & drop-off — under five minutes

    We've streamlined collection and drop-off to under five minutes. Our attendants prepare the car before you arrive, the 8-photo check is done in the app, and once you sign off you're on the road. The same applies on return — quick review, upload your photos and mileage, and you're done.

  21. 21

    Punctual collection & return — three strike rule

    Late collections and late returns are taken seriously — every minute a car is late affects the next member's earnings. We grant a 15-minute grace period on collection and return times (subject to change at our discretion). Beyond that we operate a three-strike rule: the first two late events are logged with a formal warning, and from the third strike onward late fees apply on an escalating scale charged to the card on file: $200 MXN for the first 30 minutes past grace, $400 MXN for the next 30 minutes (31–60 min), $600 MXN for 61–90 min, and an additional $200 MXN for every further 30 minutes thereafter. If the car is more than 3 hours late and the next member's booking is affected, a full day's rental rate is also charged. We understand things happen — if you're going to be late or have any issue collecting or returning the car, call or message us immediately and we will do everything we can to support you.

    Right to pause or cancel membership for breach of company ethos

    NexoDrive is built on trust, respect and looking after each other as a family. We reserve the right to pause or permanently cancel any membership where a member acts against our company ethos — including disrespect toward staff, other members or customers, dishonesty, repeated rule breaches, or any conduct that damages the reputation of the club. This decision sits at the sole discretion of NexoDrive.

    Return with a full tank — fuel handling fee

    Every car is handed over with a full tank and must be returned with a full tank. If the car is returned with anything less than full, a $250 MXN admin fee will be charged to the card on file plus the cost of the fuel required to refill the tank. The admin fee covers our team's time refuelling the car and is separate from the gas itself — the only way to avoid it is to top up before drop-off.
